GRG was asked to wrap columns within stores of a retail chain to highlight products and allow them to sell advertising space. We experimented with velcro banners and decals, however this became quite a challenge with each store having different size columns from 10″ to 30″, some round, some square, and all having something attached to them, conduit, fire extinguishers, phones, and grime.

Graphic Resource Group, through two years of experimentation, innovation and testing, came up with a new concept that was so unique we’ve had it patented (Actually two patents to be precise: US #9,387,002B2 & US # 10,403,183 B2). Our Universal Column Display fits on any column from 10″ to 30″, round or square, metal or concrete and holds four snap frame sign holders for 360° visibility.  Our system is easily installed with no damage to the columns and best of all allows for consistent signage at every store, regardless of the column construction, resulting in tremendous cost savings by producing the same size signs instead of managing hundreds of different variables.
